MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES

APO Theta ASFI regularly holds monthly Board of Trustees (BOT) meetings and separate planning sessions for key projects such as Magtanim nAPO Tayo, kAPOtiran sa Theta, Torchbearer, global reunions, and other fellowship events. These gatherings foster unity among resident and alumni members across generations. True to our principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service, we also celebrate APO Anniversaries and UPLB Loyalty Day as part of our cherished traditions.

UPLB FEB FAIR AND ANNIVERSARIES

APO Theta ASFI proudly joins UPLB's weeklong Feb Fair each year, featuring advocacy displays and engaging games that reflect the vibrant spirit of UPLB. The event coincides with APO Theta’s Charter Anniversary, often marked by alumni returning to celebrate their roots. It also aligns with the Biennial Global Reunion. The chapter commemorates other milestones, including APO International (Dec 16), APO National (Mar 2), APOSS Charter Anniversary (Dec 14), and KPO/APOSS Founding Anniversary (Aug 9).

INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS

Following the biennial General Assembly and elections, APO Theta ASFI conducts its formal Installation of Officers in UPLB. The ceremony includes the oath-taking and pinning of the newly elected Board of Trustees, officiated by the National President and Board Members of APO Philippines, Inc. This symbolic event marks the official start of their term and sets the course for APO Theta’s continued leadership and service.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Held every February or October, the APO Theta ASFI General Assembly fulfills SEC requirements and serves as a platform for the Board of Trustees to present accomplishments, upcoming plans, and policy ratifications. Conducted in a hybrid setup but mostly attended in person, the assembly sees strong alumni participation. A cherished tradition, it always concludes with the APO Toast Song, brethren clasping hands in unity and in the spirit of Service.

UPLB LOYALTY DAY

Celebrated every October 10, UPLB Loyalty Day brings alumni back home for parades, reunions, and festivities. APO Theta ASFI members proudly join the parade, with some alumni recognized and awarded by their colleges. The celebration, which catalyzed the creation of the APO Theta Alumni Association in 1991, draws members from various regions and abroad, reaffirming bonds of brotherhood and celebrating shared roots in service and leadership.

GLOBAL REUNION

The seed of GR 2025 was planted right after Day 1 of GR 2023 when Bro. Joey “Barkley” Trillana boldly declared: “Kami na sa GR 2025!” — and just like that, the ‘80s bros, proudly known as the Dekada 80 Brothers, accepted the challenge to host the next grand reunion.


Fueled by brotherhood and nostalgia (with a dose of madness), they immediately got to work — holding their first meeting before GR 2023 even wrapped up. But they also knew one truth: there are tasks only a woman can master. So, they wisely brought in the ever-reliable Sis Roche Mercado Limon, GR 2023 veteran, to help steady the ship.


APO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Held every year, the APO National General Assembly brings together brothers and sisters from chapters and alumni associations nationwide. APO Theta alumni and resident members actively attend, with some playing key roles in the event. Members look forward to national elections, awarding ceremonies, and fellowships. APO Theta and its members are regularly recognized for their outstanding service and accomplishments, proudly upholding the fraternity’s values of leadership, friendship, and service.

1ST THETA CUP

What started as a casual idea after GR 2023 teed off into something bigger — the 1st Theta Charity Golf Tournament, a side event pitched by Dekada 80 Brothers and launched to kickstart an annual fundraising tradition for future APO Theta projects.


Led by Chairman Bro. Ray Robin Abache, the team went full swing with planning from December to February. By January 2025, the venue was locked (Summit Golf), the format chosen (System 36), and invites sent — prioritizing GR delegates and VIP partners.
